SSS & Philpost Tie Up for Unified ID System

Monday, July 18, 2011, my office mate and I went to SSS, Puerto Princesa to apply for SSS Unified ID.

First, we secured an application form. After filling out this form, we went out to get a number from the security guard and waited for calling our numbers. As my number was called, I submitted the form and they asked for my two valid IDs - I presented my BIR TIN and PhilHealth IDs. After a while, gave me the Acknowledgment Slip. I was advised to get new number for picture ID processing. When my number was called I went to a small booth where they took a photo of mine.

According to them, they will send me my ID through Postal Office not less than six (6) months onwards.

However, it took a year before they have delivered me my UMID. Anyway, I like the design of it.
